Marlin 1895 SBL – Lever-Action Rifle (.45-70 Govt.)

The Marlin 1895 SBL is a modernized version of the classic lever-action rifle chambered in .45-70 Government, crafted from stainless steel. It combines the heritage of the iconic American lever gun with modern features, making it a favorite among hunters and sport shooters. The rifle features a 19.1" (485 mm) barrel with an 11/16×24 threaded muzzle for attachments, a gray laminated wood stock with textured checkering, a rubber recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. A ghost-ring rear sight paired with a tritium front sight ensures fast and intuitive aiming, while the integrated Picatinny rail makes it optics-ready. Proudly manufactured in the USA under the Ruger/Marlin brand, it reflects strict quality control, precise tolerances, and advanced production methods.

As a fun fact, the Marlin 1895 SBL also appeared on the big screen in Jurassic World, where it was carried by the main character Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) as his primary weapon against dinosaurs. This role has cemented its reputation not only as a legendary firearm but also as a cinematic icon.
