Nambu Type 94

The Type 94 pistol was a Japanese semi-automatic handgun used from 1934 until the end of World War II. From 1937 it was involved in fighting in China and later spread to conflicts in the Asia-Pacific. It was chambered for the 8×22 mm Nambu calibre, which was the standard pistol ammunition of the Japanese Army. Approximately 72 000 of this weapon were produced in total.

Unlike its predecessor, the Type 14 pistol, the Type 94 was more compact, lighter and easily concealed. It was designed primarily as a backup weapon for officers and military police units who needed an inconspicuous pistol for close-range combat. Its magazine held 6 rounds, which was adequate for the role of a small defensive weapon. Although the Type 94 was practical in terms of size, it had several design flaws. The most criticized feature was its lack of an external safety mechanism, which meant a higher risk of accidental discharge. Another weak point was the non-ergonomic grip, which was not comfortable for extended handling. The Type 94 pistol was used extensively in various military operations, but its limited numbers and technical shortcomings led to it gradually giving way to other weapons. During the war it was increasingly replaced by the Nambu Type 14 pistol and the Type 26 revolver, which offered greater reliability and better performance.

Despite its problematic design, the Type 94 is now a collectible weapon, primarily due to its unique history and the limited number of examples produced. Its unusual design and controversial reputation make it one of the most interesting Japanese pistols of World War II.

Kombinace profi a pratelskeho pristupu, individualni pristup ke kazdemu strelci, naprosto excelentni arzenal zbrani vcetne exotickych kousku, ze kterych si jinde nevystrelite jako napr Zastava M93 Black Arrow strilejici 50BMG. Rozhodne doporucuju!
